The ghost mannequin prompt opens in Apparel Studio. Review it there before generating.

Show the garment without the support

The preset requests a front-facing product image on white, with soft light and a centered composition.

Remove a hanger or mannequin

Use an existing product shot as the reference for an invisible-body view.

Reconstruct the inside neckline

Ask for a natural collar opening and inside back where the support previously appeared.

Start from a flat lay

Give a clearly arranged garment a worn, dimensional appearance using the same preset.

Prepare a useful ghost mannequin reference

Make the shape readable before you ask AI to reconstruct it.

  1. Photograph the full outline

Keep sleeves, shoulders and hem inside the frame. Use even light and avoid folds across the collar.

  2. Describe the hidden construction

In the studio, edit the preset to describe the collar and inside back. Process one garment photo at a time.

  3. Inspect the reconstructed areas

Compare the collar, buttons, seams and labels with the real garment before downloading a listing image.

When an invisible mannequin view helps

Choose this treatment when the garment itself should carry the image.

Storefront product detail pages

Prepare a shape-focused view of a shirt, jacket or dress alongside your original detail photos.

Resale clothing listings

Give a hanger photo a cleaner presentation while retaining separate photos of condition and labels.

What to check before using the image

A reconstructed product view needs a human check.

  • Hidden fabric is inferred

The AI cannot verify an unseen inside label or seam. Use the real garment as the reference.

  • Fine details can change

Compare color, print, logos and proportions. Adjust the prompt or try again if the result differs.

  • Source quality matters

Retake cropped, blurred or heavily shadowed photos rather than asking AI to recover missing product information.

Ghost mannequin questions

Is a ghost mannequin image a 3D file?

It is a still product image with an invisible-body appearance. This tool does not provide a rotatable 3D model.

How can I try the generator for free?

Sign in to a new account for 20 starting credits. A ghost mannequin image uses 10 credits in Apparel Studio, enough for about two initial images.

Can I change the ghost mannequin prompt?

Yes. The starting prompt is editable, so you can describe a particular neckline, garment length or framing before generating.

Which model creates the image?

Apparel Studio uses NanoBanana 2 Pro for this treatment.

Can it remove the person from an on-model photo?

An on-model photo can be a garment reference. Use a photo you have permission to edit; check that removing the person has not changed the garment.

Can I use the result in a store?

Check the current Terms of Service for the applicable usage rights, and confirm you have permission to use the source photo.
